SoulSkank – New Location Parts and Labour

We’ve moved! But nothing has really changed… Its still the best Soul, Funk, Rockers, Ska dance party in the city brought to you by DJ Gramera(Stolen Souls, CHRY 105.5) and yours truly Dennis P(Northern Soul Horns) on the sax. Okay there is one small change beyond the most obvious, DJ Double K(Parkdale Funk, CIUT 89.5) has now OFFICIALLY joined the SoulSkank team.

The first night at the new digs takes place on Friday, May 4th, 2012. Treat this like an art exhibit opening or the first day at a new job. The point is don’t miss it! as always its gonna be wild! wild! WILD!

SoulSkank is back once again this week at the Piston and this one will be different from any other you’ve been at before firstly because resident bad bwoy selectah DJ Gramera will not be on the decks for this one. So what do we do? Simple… grab Mr. Parkdale Funk himself Double K(Shindig, Cold Sweat, 89.5 fm) and team him with one of the baddest female assassins out there Ms. Brittney Townson(Bangs&Blush, Shake, Rattle and Roll, Fuck it) In the end you get two dance floor aces killing you with all that Soul, Funk, R&B, Motown and Stax!

This Friday is the Bonnie and Clyde Edition of SoulSkank…!! come dressed in a bullet proof vest cause these two don’t miss…

SoulSkank May Edition


Its the May edition of SoulSkank…!! DJ Gramera (Stolen Souls) and Dennis P (Northern Soul Horns) Bringing all that funk, soul, rockers, motown and ska.

We had such a good time with you all last month we decided it needed a reprise! SO… for this next edition of SoulSkank DJ Double K (Parkdale Funk) will be our special guest DJ once again!

Special, special, SPECIAL edition on April 8th! I’ve been wanting to share a night with this cat for ages now and its finally happening!
